I provide a fresh pair of eyes to find a different arrangement of furniture or repurposed use of existing pieces to give new life to what you already own. I will always recommend spending on durability and quality as the best investment; and “shopping in your own home.” You can transform a hand-me-down chair into an heirloom, or an armoire can become a computer desk. Paint is one of the least expensive ways to impact your space. Fabulous fabric can transform a room.

How the Process Works
I offer a free one hour consultation in your home or place of business to establish your needs. We will discuss general design options and budget, and I will assess the space, measure and photograph the area you want transformed. Finding what makes an environment cohesive, welcoming and personal is exciting, and I am happy to guide the process, based on your taste and budget. |
It is critical to see how materials look in your home. After discovering what is most important to your space I will coordinate choices and bring them to you: paint colors, fabric samples, flooring materials, etc., so you can see them in your own space and light. (What looks good on a chip in the paint store can be an unwelcome surprise at home.) This will be an exciting and creative process: I will shop for you, or with you, and pass my designer’s discount on to you. I will recommend sources for supplies, contractors, upholsterers or carpet installers to complete the transformation.
